Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil d'exécution de transferts entre deux systèmes de communication. Ces systèmes peuvent être des systèmes AMCR fonctionnant à différentes fréquences ou des systèmes utilisant d'autres technologies. Dans le premier système, une station de base (4) est configurée de façon à assurer les communications de plusieurs secteurs, un secteur au moins étant affecté à un répéteur (8) correspondant, couvrant la zone de couverture des systèmes considérés. Lorsque la station à distance (6) arrive dans la zone de couverture du répéteur (8), le signal pilote du répéteur (8) est identifié, mesuré, puis envoyé au premier système. Si le signal pilote mesuré est supérieur à un seuil déterminé d'adjonction, le répéteur (8) est ajouté à l'ensemble actif de la station à distance. Le premier système peut transférer au second système la station à distance (6): (1) au lancement d'un transfert en douceur par la station de base du premier système; (2) si l'intensité du signal pilote du répéteur (8), telle que mesurée par la station à distance (6), dépasse un seuil défini de transfert; (3) si la station de base (4) du premier système est exclue de l'ensemble actif de la station à distance (6); (4) si le répéteur du premier système est exclu de l'ensemble actif de la station à distance (6); ou (5) si la station de base (4) et le répéteur (8) du premier système sont exclus de l'ensemble actif de la station à distance (6).
