Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de manipulation servant dans une installation de forage. Ce dispositif comporte au moins deux postes de manipulation (34, 35) destinés à recevoir des éléments tubulaires (50, 52, 54) et à les assembler en longueurs de tiges, ainsi qu'un élément de transfert (36, 38, 40, 42) destiné à transporter les longueurs de tiges assemblées dans un puits, les postes de manipulation (34, 35) étant espacés du dispositif de forage au niveau du puits. Les postes de manipulation (34, 35) sont placés de part et d'autre du dispositif de forage, une zone de stockage étant prévue entre chaque poste de manipulation et le dispositif de forage. On a également prévu un transporteur pour le transport des éléments tubulaires vers le poste de manipulation. L'invention concerne, en outre, un procédé permettant d'amener le dispositif de forage au centre du puits.
