Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition destinée à être utilisée pour le revêtement d'un outil de coupe. Cette composition comprend: (i) un premier matériau sélectionné dans le groupe constitué de TiN¿x?, TiAlN¿x?, TiAlYCrN¿x? et CrN¿x?, et (ii) un second matériau choisi entre MoS¿z? et WS¿z?. Dans ces matériaux, x est compris entre 0,5 et 1,5, z est compris entre 0,8 et 2,2, et le rapport atomique (y) de Mo ou W à Ti ou Cr est compris entre 0,1 et 0,8.
