Abstract

L'invention concerne une nouvelle protéine d'interféron dérivé de kératinocyte, qui fait partie de la famille d'interférons. Elle concerne notamment des molécules d'acides nucléiques isolés qui codent pour un polypeptide d'interféron humain désigné "KDI". Elle concerne également des polypeptides de KDI ainsi que des vecteurs, des cellules hôtes et des procédés de leur fabrication. L'invention concerne également des procédés de criblage visant à identifier les agonistes et les antagonistes de l'activité KDI. Enfin, elle concerne des procédés thérapeutiques permettant de traiter les troubles liés au système immunitaire.
