Abstract

La présente invention concerne des procédés permettant de traiter une maladie chez un sujet qui en a besoin en sensibilisant les macrophages aux effets d'un agent co-thérapeutique. Le procédé de l'invention consiste à administrer une texaphyrine et un agent co-thérapeutique au patient. Les texaphyrines, dont il a été démontré qu'elles s'accumulent dans les macrophages, permettent de renforcer la cytotoxicité des agents thérapeutiques dans les maladies à médiation macrophagique.
