Abstract

On a découvert que la Lipochitooligosaccharide (LCO) isolée à partir de la souche 532C de Bradyrhizobium japonicum pouvait stimuler la germination et la pousse des plantules dans le cas des pommes de terre, et de différentes cultures de huit familles distinctes de plantes (Poaceae, Fabaceae, Brassicaceae, Cucurbitaceae, Malvaceae, Asteraceae, Chenopodiaceae, et Solanaceae) à 15 et/ou 25 DEG C. Il est également apparu que d'autres LCO [NodRM-V(C16:2,5) et le LCO de R. leguminosarum] avaient des effets favorisant la croissance sur les cultures testées. Des compositions comportant au moins un LCO ont démontré leur action sur la croissance tant en laboratoire qu'en pleine terre. L'invention porte en outre sur des procédés favorisant le germination et/ou l'apparition de plantules et/ou la croissance dans des plantes. Ces procédés consistent à soumettre les graines ou les plantes elles-mêmes à une quantité efficace d'une composition agricole comprenant au moins un LCO.
