Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un dispositif de stockage d'énergie de forte capacitance, dans lequel des électrodes (20, 22) sont formées de couches d'une toile tissée activée carbonisée, ayant été imprégnée avec un électrolyte. L'électrolyte est absorbé par des centres actifs à la surface du matériau activé carbonisé. La toile ainsi préparée est prise en sandwich entre des séparateurs à base de graphite (16, 18) et des membranes non conductrices (24) qui alternent, de façon à former une structure de condensateur présentant une très forte capacitance, l'avantage de ne pas subir de dégradations après de multiples cycles de charge/décharge et, dans des installations à courant alternatif, des caractéristiques fiables et reproductibles. En outre, les matériaux de ce dispositif sont non polluants.
