Abstract
L'invention concerne des procédés et des dispositifs qui permettent d'améliorer la sensibilité, la résolution angulaire et la portée des détecteurs de mouvement, des capteurs de présence et autres systèmes similaires. Plus particulièrement, elle concerne un module d'entrée d'infrarouges amélioré, qui comporte au moins une lentille supplémentaire, éventuellement segmentée, disposée avant une mosaïque de lentilles. Cette lentille de préfocalisation rassemble le rayonnement infrarouge incident sur toute l'ouverture de l'entrée et le focalise partiellement sur un seul élément de la mosaïque de lentilles. La mosaïque de lentilles finale, qui focalise le rayonnement sur un détecteur, peut être une mosaïque de lentilles de Fresnel classique, une mosaïque de microlentilles ou une mosaïque d'optiques de diffraction. Il est également possible de réaliser ce système de façon qu'il détecte des sources d'infrarouges en déplacement selon n'importe quelle orientation angulaire, au contraire des systèmes existants capables de détecter uniquement les sources qui coupent les plans séparant une mosaïque de secteurs angulaires.
