Abstract
Cette invention se rapporte à une poutre précontrainte à force de tension réglable, qui est conçue pour compenser l'affaissement ou les fissures pouvant se produire dans la poutre en raison d'une surcharge ou d'un fluage à long terme ou pour accroître la force de résistance à la charge d'un pont ou d'un bâtiment. Cette poutre précontrainte à force de tension réglable, destinée à permettre le réglage de la force de résistance à la charge, comprend une semelle supérieure (28) soutenant la partie supérieure du tablier d'un pont en appui sur elle, une partie âme (22) et une semelle inférieure (24), qui comporte des fils d'acier sous tension (27) placés dans le sens de la longueur de la poutre (40) et tendus de façon à compenser la force de résistance à la charge, et au moins un ou plusieurs fils d'acier sans tension (27a) placés dans le sens de la longueur de la poutre, pour que l'on puisse accroître la force de résistance à la charge du pont ou du bâtiment, en tendant ces fils d'acier sans tension. Ainsi, les fissures et l'affaissement de la poutre produits par les phénomènes à long terme de détérioration, de fluage ou de surcharge peuvent être corrigés par tension additionnelle des fils d'acier placés à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur d'une poutre du pont ou du bâtiment. De même, toute réparation et tout renforcement du pont ou du bâtiment sont facilités, de telle sorte que la force de résistance à la charge du pont ou du bâtiment peut être aisément accrue. En outre, par réglage de la force de tension pas à pas, la poutre peut être fabriquée économiquement ou alors sa hauteur peut être diminuée.
