Abstract

En vue de la réduction de la quantité des oxydes d'azote résultant de l'azote présent dans des combustibles, une zone de flammes sous-stoechiométrique est produite et un agent de réduction d'oxyde d'azote est introduit dans ladite zone. L'agent de réduction augmente la concentration des radicaux qui réduisent le NO produit et libèrent de l'azote moléculaire, dans des conditions de cessation de l'apport d'oxygène.
