Abstract
L'invention concerne un acide nucléique isolé codant le facteur 1 de réponse éthylénique (Ethylene Response Factor 1 (ERF1), un gène à réponse précoce, codant une protéine de liaison à la séquence GCC dans la voie de signalisation de gaz éthylénique dans des végétaux. L'invention concerne également le peptide ERF1, qui est caractérisé, ainsi que des méthodes d'utilisation d'ERF1 ou d'un produit d'expression de ce dernier pour moduler la réponse de végétaux ou de cellules végétales à l'éthylène. En outre, parce que ERF1 agit en amont de EIN3 et de tous les éléments de la voie de signalisation identifiés antérieurement, et parce que l'expression constitutive de ERF1 entraîne la modulation de plusieurs gènes et phénotypes de réponse éthylénique, l'invention concerne des méthodes nouvelles et utiles de régulation de la voie de signalisation éthylénique.
