Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à des procédés de culture de cellules de muscle lisse destinées à la production de greffons tissulaires ou d'autres structures de remplacement implantables. L'invention concerne plus spécifiquement l'application de contrainte de cisaillement par écoulement appliquée à des cellules de muscle lisse en culture, dans laquelle les cellules prennent un alignement perpendiculaire à la direction de l'écoulement, alignement qui est proche de l'orientation des cellules in vivo. Les cultures résultantes et les procédés sont utiles pour la production de greffons vasculaires améliorés, de vaisseaux et d'autres structures implantables destinées à la correction de défauts ou de tissus anormaux du corps.
