Abstract

L'invention concerne un aide-foreur mécanique comportant une paire de mâchoires supérieures sur laquelle sont montés des coussinets de serrage de tube destinés au serrage de joints de tige. Ces mâchoires comportent des évidements formés sur chaque côté desdits coussinets, servant à recevoir des rouleaux rotatifs. En positionnant lesdits rouleaux dans les mâchoires supérieures au même niveau que les coussinets de serrage, ces rouleaux peuvent entrer en prise avec le tube plus près des mâchoires inférieures et agir par conséquent sur le joint de tige plutôt que sur la tige proprement dite.
