Abstract
Dans la présente invention, il est prévu un couvercle amovible pour retenir des gaz à l'intérieur d'un clarificateur. Le couvercle comprend des poutres s'étendant à travers le clarificateur et une feuille souple qui repose sur les poutres. Des angles de structure enferment le clarificateur et constituent une plaque de poussée sur les trottoirs autour du clarificateur pour améliorer la sécurité des travailleurs. Un côté de la feuille souple est fixé en permanence à une première paroi du clarificateur. Une série de poulies sont montées à l'intérieur des angles de structure pour tirer et sceller de manière amovible les trois autres côtés de la feuille flexible contre les poutres les plus extérieures et contre une deuxième paroi du clarificateur opposée à la première paroi. Chaque poulie présente une barre de guidage des câbles s'étendant sensiblement dans un même plan qu'une surface de montage de la poulie pour augmenter un angle de traction vers le bas sur la feuille souple. La feuille souple est enroulée le long des poutres pour exposer la machine à l'intérieur du clarificateur.
