Abstract
La présente invention concerne un module de filtration comportant une pluralité de membranes de nanofiltration ou d'osmose inverse à fibres creuses suspendues entre une paire d'en-têtes opposés. Les passages des membranes représentent le côté rétentat ou alimentation du module. Les membranes sont organisées en groupes, telles les compartiments d'un cylindre, et forment des étages précédents ou suivants. Une chambre de collecte de perméation est en communication fluidique directe avec chaque étage. Les étages sont reliés par des bouchons présentant généralement des organes de séparation situés à l'extrémité du module. Ce module est utilisé pour filtrer l'eau ou pour supprimer la dureté de l'eau lorsqu'il est éventuellement équipé de membranes de fibres creuses devant rejeter sélectivement les sels qui provoquent la dureté de l'eau. Par ailleurs, cette invention concerne des procédés de nettoyage faisant intervenir des solutions acides ou du dioxyde de carbone gazeux. Ces procédés de nettoyage consistent à ajouter continuellement ou périodiquement l'acide à l'eau d'alimentation pendant la perméation, à rincer le module avec une solution acide en phase de non perméation et à maintenir une solution acide ou du dioxyde de carbone gazeux dans le module pendant un certain temps en phase de non perméation, et enfin, à rincer. De plus, cette invention concerne un système de filtration.
