Abstract

Une machine pour poncer un parquet, à utiliser avec du papier de verre ayant un côté lisse et un côté abrasif, est présentée et comprend une plate-forme ayant une extrémité arrière et une extrémité avant, des roues fixées sur la plate-forme afin de soutenir l'extrémité arrière en mouvement de roulis, une tête de ponçage, un moteur et une poignée. La tête de ponçage définit une face de ponçage et est fixée sur la plate-forme en rotation autour d'un axe vertical, avec la face de ponçage orientée normalement à l'axe vertical. Le moteur est fixé sur la plate-forme afin d'entraîner ladite rotation. La poignée est fixée de manière rigide à la plate-forme, à côté de l'extrémité arrière, et s'étend essentiellement vers le haut et vers l'arrière. Un moyen de fixation est également proposé, afin de fixer, de manière sélective et libérable, ledit papier de verre à ladite tête de ponçage, le côté lisse se trouvant en relation de contact sous-jacent avec la face de ponçage, et le côté abrasif se trouvant en relation de contact avec le parquet.
