Abstract

L'invention concerne des produits souples et élastiques obtenus par étirement d'une composition comprenant un copolymère polyhydroxyalcanoate biodégradable contenant au moins deux unités monomères se répétant de manière aléatoire. La première unité monomère présente la structure (I): dans laquelle R<1> représente H, ou alkyle C1 ou C2, et n est 1 ou 2. La seconde unité monomère présente la structure (II): dans laquelle R<2> est un alkyle C3-C19 ou un alcényle C3-C19. Au moins environ 70 % en mole du copolymère comprennent des unités monomères se répétant de manière aléatoire présentant la structure de la première unité monomère susmentionnée (I). Les produits présentent des combinaisons avantageuses de souplesse et d'élasticité tout en conservant leur résistance.
