Abstract
Une pompe comprenant des sections multiples de dispositif volumétrique à déplacement positif pour fluide empilées axialement, comme des pompes à piston circonférentielles ayant des compartiments et des compartiments contrarotatifs. Le dispositif peut être employé comme un moteur hydraulique. Les sections empilées sont disposées à l'intérieur d'un cylindre de retenue extérieur dans un ou plusieurs étages. La pompe est particulièrement adaptée pour l'installation dans le tubage d'un puits de forage. Chaque section comprend une paire de rotors montés aux manches qui sont supportés de manière rotative sur des roulements rechargés entre les manches et les bossages. Chaque section de la pompe puise du fluide à partir d'un orifice d'admission et décharge le fluide vers un collecteur de déchargement commun et contigu. Les entrées des sections de la pompe pour un étage d'aspiration communiquent avec une source de fluide. Les sections de croisement acheminent le fluide entre les étages. Les sections de pression successives puisent le fluide de la zone de croisement jusqu'au collecteur de déchargement de l'étage précédent.
