Abstract
L'invention concerne un moteur à combustion interne comprenant un vérin (200), dont les étapes d'allumage, de ventilation (comprenant une admission et un échappement simultanés), et de compression dans le vérin (200) définissent complètement le cycle du moteur. L'induction dans le cylindre d'induction (100) constituant une fonction auxiliaire et incidente du cycle dans le vérin (200), le refroidissement du moteur et la consommation de carburant du moteur sont ainsi améliorés par rapport à des moteurs à combustion interne antérieurs. Une chambre de transfert reliant le vérin au cylindre d'induction (100) s'ouvre au sommet du vérin (200), cette chambre étant équipée d'une valve de transfert (60) à simple action, sensible à la pression, permettant l'entrée d'air dans le vérin (200) lorsque la pression à l'intérieur du vérin descend en-dessous de la pression du cylindre d'induction (100). Un orifice d'échappement (12) est situé près de la partie inférieure du vérin (200).
