Abstract
L'invention concerne un carburant diesel à faibles émissions, comprenant une qualité de kérosène pour avion fongible de type 55, 50-300 ppm de détergent, 25-500 ppm d'additif de lubrification, et un catalyseur de carburant bimétallique composé de platine et de cérium solubles dans ledit carburant (par exemple, 0,1-2.0 ppm de COD de platine et 5-20 ppm d'oléate de cérium). On peut utiliser ce carburant sous forme d'émulsion. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de réduire les émissions de polluants dans un moteur diesel, qui consiste à utiliser le carburant défini dans ledit moteur. Le retard de l'injection permet, en outre, de réduire le NO¿x?, et l'utilisation d'un filtre diesel à particules, et/ou d'un catalyseur d'oxydation du diesel permet de réduire le monoxyde de carbone, et les hydrocarbures et les particules imbrûlés.
