Abstract

La présente invention concerne l'immobilisation de protéines PNA sur des surfaces solides en vue d'être utilisées pour l'hybridation, la purification, la biodétection, et pour d'autres applications biochimiques. Plus particulièrement, cette invention concerne leur utilisation pour augmenter la stabilité thermique, la spécificité, et la duré de vie des dispositifs basés sur l'hybridation in situ. En outre, cette invention concerne un procédé au moyen duquel des protéines PNA remplacent les oligonucléotides comme sondes dans la détection de séquences d'ADN et d'ARN spécifiques.
