Abstract
Un pylône pour soutenir un appareil permanent ou temporaire de génération d'énergie éolienne, de communication, d'éclairage et de mesure comprend une pluralité de sections de pylône à rebord associées et interconnectées en pivot, et un procédé d'érection de pylône ne nécessitant pas l'utilisation d'une grue. Des sections de pylône sont assemblées au niveau du sol du site d'installation en interconnectant les sections adjacentes avec des charnières, la section de pylône de base étant temporairement articulée sur la fondation du pylône. Des ensembles de treuil fixés à la fonction du pylône sont actionnés pour tirer sur des câbles de treuil fixés aux sections de pylône articulées pour soulever et incliner les sections de pylône vers le haut, les unes après les autres en utilisant, en partie, les forces verticales de surface au sol s'opposant au poids du pylône aux points de contact avec le sol. L'ajout de structures de poutre de levier permanentes montées sur la section de pylône supérieure facilite le pivotement de la section de pylône supérieure dans une position immobile.
