Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif antivol (12) destinés à des produits (10) équipés de composants électriques ou électroniques. Ce dispositif (12) est incorporé, ou intégré de manière inaccessible, dans le produit à protéger (10). Ledit dispositif (12) peut interagir sans fil avec des détecteurs (14) situés à des points de contrôle d'une zone sécurisée afin de produire un événement d'alarme dès qu'une personne tente de sortir le produit (10) de ladite zone, sans désactivation de la fonction de sécurité. En outre, ce dispositif (12) empêche l'utilisation d'une partie ou même de la totalité des fonctions des produits (10) en l'absence d'une autorisation en bonne et due forme, délivrée par une personne détenant des droits sur le produit (10). Ce dispositif (12) permet également d'empêcher à distance l'utilisation du produit (10), par exemple si un client n'a pas payé les droits de location du produit (10).
