Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un couvercle de cercueil faisant appel à un outillage configuré pour produire un couvercle unitaire monobloc comprenant un sommet, un fond, un rebord et une têtière, et consistant à prendre une matière capable de durcir à partir de laquelle on moule le couvercle, à mouler la matière durcissable à l'aide de l'outillage et à attendre que la matière durcisse pour ainsi produire un couvercle unitaire monobloc comprenant un sommet, un fond, un rebord et une têtière, puis à coller un panneau de revêtement en bois sur au moins une partie du couvercle. Le panneau de revêtement peut être apposé à l'aide soit d'une presse à membrane, soit d'une machine à profiler et à envelopper.
