Abstract
La présente concerne une huile de base améliorée utilisée dans les fluides de forage pendant les opérations de forage, d'achèvement ou de production. Le fluide de forage est un constituant d'une boue de forage et il peut aussi contenir des émulsifiants, des agents mouillants, des agents de réduction de perte de fluides, de l'eau, de la chaux, des alourdissants et des agents de contrôle rhéologique. L'huile de base améliorée est un mélange d'hydrocarbures dans la gamme C8-C24, de préférence C10-C18. Les hydrocarbures sont constitués de n-alcanes de 10 à 80 % en poids, de préférence < 40 % en poids, d'isoalcanes de 20 à 90 % en poids, de préférence > 50 % en poids, et d'aromates d'au plus 20 % en poids, de préférence < 10 % en poids. Le liquide mélangé a une viscosité de préférence inférieure à 2 cSt à 20 °C et un point d'écoulement inférieur à -30 °C, de préférence inférieur à -40 °C. La densité doit être inférieure à 860 kg/m3 et de préférence inférieure à 840 kg/m3. Le point d'aniline doit être supérieur à 60 °C, de préférence supérieur à 65 °C. Le point d'éclair doit être supérieur à 60 °C, de préférence supérieur 70 °C.
