Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour retoucher toutes les fentes de la couche superficielle d'une piste d'aviation. Ce procédé comprend une première étape où une fente est chauffée de manière à ce que sa surface soit sèche et que les orifices capillaires de la fente soient ouverts. La surface de la fente est alors recouverte d'un agent en asphalte synthétique. Ce revêtement est ensuite chauffé pour que les molécules de l'agent en asphalte synthétique se diffusent dans les orifices capillaires de la fente, pour empêcher ainsi l'eau de s'infiltrer dans la couche de terrassement de la piste. Entre temps, la fente est dotée d'une interface souple apte à prévenir l'infiltration de l'eau dans les fentes de la couche superficielle de la piste. Cette interface souple reste solidement liée aux fentes, quels que soient les changements climatiques.
