Abstract
Procédé de production de gaz et appareil pouvant être utilisé à bord d'un aéronef produisant de l'oxygène avec au moins un système de génération d'oxygène embarqué (OBOGS) et produisant un gaz inerte avec au moins un système de génération de gaz inerte embarqué (OBIGGS) et alimentant de manière sélective une source auxiliaire de gaz inerte utilisant la sortie des gaz usés d'au moins un OBOGS. Le gaz inerte peut comprendre de l'azote . Une source auxiliaire d'oxygène peut aussi être fournie. Des robinets de commande peuvent être utilisés pour alimenter de manière sélective la sortie en gaz inerte d'au moins un OBOGS à l'atmosphère ou à un ou l'autre des deux endroits. L'oxygène peut être utilisé dans la cabine des passagers de l'aéronef et le gaz inerte peut être utilisé dans le réservoir de carburant ou dans la soute de l'aéronef.
