Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de projectiles pour armes à feu, consistant à mélanger une première poudre métallique présentant une densité supérieure à celle du plomb avec une seconde poudre métallique présentant une densité inférieure ou égale à celle du plomb et une poudre polymère matrice micronisée faiblement conductrice, mais pouvant accumuler une charge électrostatique durant sa manipulation et/ou son transport. Le mélange de ces poudres métalliques et de la poudre polymère micronisée est effectué dans des conditions permettant de conserver, de promouvoir ou d'améliorer l'environnement électrostatique dans un réservoir de mélange, ce qui permet d'obtenir une distribution sensiblement uniforme des poudres métalliques et non métalliques dans le mélange. Ces poudres métalliques et non métalliques conservent leur distribution uniforme après leur retrait du récipient de mélange, y compris au cours d'étapes ultérieures de transformation du mélange en projectiles pour armes à feu, sans que les particules de poudre de métal lourd et léger ne se séparent, en fonction de leurs densités respectives, en semi-couches ou strates.
