Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé pour former un contenant métallique en forme de bouteille ou d'une autre forme, ce procédé consistant à soumettre une préforme métallique creuse comportant une extrémité fermée à une pression hydraulique interne pour provoquer une expansion de la préforme contre la paroi d'une cavité de matrice (10) définissant la forme voulue et à introduire un poinçon (12) dans la cavité de matrice (10) pour déplacer et déformer l'extrémité fermée de la préforme, avant ou après le début de l'expansion, mais avant la fin de l'expansion. Lors de l'étape d'application de pression, la préforme est soumise dans la cavité de matrice simultanément à des pressions hydrauliques positives interne et externe régulables indépendamment, la différence entre la pression interne et la pression externe étant modifiée pour réguler le taux de déformation.
