Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif destinés à fermer un ou plusieurs passages dans un four à feu mobile destiné à la calcination de corps carbonés. Au cours du processus de calcination, ledit four est divisé dans une zone contenant un faible nombre de sections, en une zone de préchauffage, une zone de cuisson, et une zone de refroidissement mues successivement en avant dans le four. Pour contrôler toute alimentation d'air inadéquate d'une première section (K-1) en amont de la zone de préchauffage, vers la première section (K1) de la zone de préchauffage, un ou plusieurs clapets abaissables (4) sont placés dans la paroi supérieure (2). Lorsque le ou les clapets (4) sont abaissés, lesdits clapets bloquent toute alimentation d'air inadéquate de la première section (K-1) en amont de la zone de préchauffage, vers la première section (K1) de la zone de préchauffage.
