Abstract
Un dispositif de serrage comprend un bâti et une paire de bras de serrage en opposition montés sur le bâti pour assurer un mouvement rapprochant ou éloignant les deux bras pour saisir ou libérer une charge. Dans une version, chaque bras de serrage est guidé pour effectuer un mouvement par rapport au bâti, au moyen d'une douille réglable qui peut tourner pour régler la position de ladite douille par rapport au bras de serrage. Dans une autre version, chaque bras de serrage définit un quadrilatère articulé qui commande l'angle par rapport à la verticale d'une partie de contact du bras de serrage. Le dispositif de serrage peut être installé sur un chariot élévateur ou autre support au moyen d'un raccord. Ce procédé permet de régler l'angle du dispositif de serrage par rapport à l'horizontale et qui permet audit dispositif de serrage de pivoter autour d'un axe, entre une position hors axe et une position en avant de l'axe.
