Abstract
Est divulgué un solin pour imperméabiliser une ouverture pratiquée dans un toit incliné pour permettre le passage d'un élément vertical telle que la cheminée à travers le toit incliné. Ce solin comporte un élément de base adapté pour être monté sur l'ouverture et un élément entourant qui est de forme tubulaire et s'étend vers le haut depuis l'élément de base pour s'adapter autour de l'élément vertical. L'élément de base comprend un panneau de revêtement de forme quadrangulaire ayant un bord supérieur adapté pour être positionné sur une partie supérieure du toit incliné, un bord inférieur adapté pour être positionné sur une partie inférieure du toit incliné, deux bords latéraux opposés et une ouverture assez grande pour permettre le passage de l'élément de traverse verticale. Une paroi latérale inférieure projette vers le bas à partir du bord inférieur du panneau de revêtement et deux parois latérales s'étendent respectivement vers le bas depuis les bords latéraux opposés des panneaux de revêtement et latéralement depuis la paroi latérale inférieure de manière conique. Le panneau de revêtement, la paroi latérale inférieure et les parois latérales définissent ainsi un logement creux. Ce solin peut être installé en (1) découpant une fente dans la partie supérieure du toit incliné au-dessus de l'ouverture qui y est pratiquée, de façon à recevoir le bord supérieur du panneau de revêtement de l'élément de base (2) l'insertion du bord supérieur du panneau de revêtement dans la fente coupée dans le toit incliné (3) positionnant la paroi latérale inférieure de l'élément de base sur la partie inférieure du toit incliné de telle manière que l'ouverture inférieure de l'élément entourant est situé au-dessus de l'ouverture du toit; et (4) fixant l'élément de base au toit incliné. Grâce à sa structure particulière et la façon dont il est installé, le solin, selon l'invention, peut être installé d'une manière très simple et efficace sur tout type de toitures, y compris les toitures inclinées avec une structure ondulée définissant des crêtes orientée vers le bas.
