Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation de liquides ioniques non halogénés, qui consiste à faire réagir un sel halogéné d'un cation organique avec un acide protonique en présence d'un alcool, d'un alcène ou d'un alcyne. Le produit de réaction liquide ionique non halogéné peut être purifié par l'évacuation de l'halogénure hydrocarbyle, et de toutes matières de départ qui n'auront pas réagi, de même que de l'eau, le cas échéant, par exemple, par distillation. Le teneur du produit liquide ionique en halogénure peut être réduite au minimum par l'utilisation pendant la réaction de l'alcool, de l'alcène ou d'alcyne superflus et/ou par le traitement du liquide ionique cru avec une quantité supplémentaire d'alcool, d'alcène ou d'alcyne.
