Abstract
L'invention concerne un chasse-neige auto-ajustable à utiliser avec des camionnettes et des véhicules utilitaires ou de loisirs. Ledit chasse-neige comprend un appareil de montage destiné à être fixé à un véhicule, et une lame de déneigement présentant une première et une seconde extrémité, une partie supérieure, une partie inférieure, une pluralité d'éléments de retenue et un grattoir en caoutchouc. Ledit appareil de montage comprend une paire de montants de montage et une flèche d'attelage qui est facilement montée dans un élément de réception d'attelage fixé à l'avant du véhicule. Lesdits éléments de retenue sont construits et conçus pour encercler au moins partiellement un des montants de montage respectifs lorsque la lame de déneigement est assemblée avec l'appareil de montage dans une orientation de travail de sorte que la lame de déneigement soit en contact avec le sol ou des objets au sol. Chaque élément de retenue respectif est assemblé coulissant avec un des montants de montage respectif lorsque la lame de déneigement est dans une orientation de travail. Les éléments de retenue permettent aux extrémités respectives de la lame de déneigement de coulisser vers l'avant par rapport au montant de montage le plus proche d'une extrémité de la lame de déneigement pendant que l'autre extrémité de la lame de déneigement reste en général dans la même position par rapport au montant de montage proche de la première extrémité de la lame de déneigement. Les éléments de retenue permettent également à la partie inférieure de la lame de déneigement de pivoter librement à l'opposé des montants de montage respectifs lorsque ladite lame de déneigement est assemblée avec l'appareil de montage dans une orientation de travail et que le véhicule recule par rapport à ladite lame de déneigement.
