Abstract

La présente invention concerne un élément de meulage (2) destiné à être couplé à un élément de liaison de commande (3) pour former une coupelle de meulage (1) servant à meuler les inserts ou pointes en métal dur d'outils de forage (à percussion ou rotatifs) et d'outils de coupe de tunneliers ou de foreuses en surface de façon à leur redonner sensiblement leur profil d'origine. Cet élément de meulage (2) comprend : a) une section de meulage (4) comportant une surface supérieure (8) et une surface inférieure (10), ainsi qu'un évidement convexe central (7) ménagé dans la surface inférieure de cette section de meulage et présentant le profil de meulage voulu, b) une section support (9) adjacente à la surface supérieure (8) de la section de meulage et c) un moyen (13) pour coupler l'élément de meulage à l'élément de liaison de commande, l'élément de meulage pouvant être désaccouplé dudit élément de liaison de commande en cas d'usure.
