Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de prélever des échantillons de suspension épaisse qui contiennent des solides dans un grand écoulement de processus à écoulement sensiblement horizontal. Dans cet écoulement de processus il existe un appareil d'échantillonnage au moins partiellement immergé, l'échantillonnage étant effectué en deux étapes au moins. Selon cette invention, dans la première étape d'échantillonnage, l'écoulement (3) de processus portant des solides est conduit dans un appareil d'échantillonnage (2) comprenant au moins trois unités (1) d'échantillonnage qui sont agencées dans le canal d'écoulement du processus dans une position telle que dans la direction (4) d'écoulement du processus, au même point où une partie de l'écoulement du processus entre dans les unités d'échantillonnage (1), l'écoulement de la suspension épaisse laissée à l'extérieur des unités d'échantillonnage (1) est dirigé sur un niveau inférieur (6). Par ailleurs, les écoulements de suspension épaisse obtenus des unités d'échantillonnage (1) sont combinés et soumis à un mélange avant que ces écoulements ne soient retournés en vue d'un nouvel échantillonnage qui comprend: soit la première étape d'échantillonnage (13), soit l'extraction d'un échantillon en vue d'analyse.
