Abstract
Injecteur de carburant pour introduire un carburant dans un moteur et contrôler le débit du carburant pour réduire la variabilité entre les évènements d'injection. L'injecteur de carburant utilise un arrangement pour la coopération de la buse de soupape avec le pointeau de soupape. Le pointeau de soupape et le corps de vanne sont formés pour fournir coopérativement une région de débit constant entre le pointeau de soupape et le corps de vanne. La région de débit constant restreint l'écoulement à travers la buse de sorte qu'un taux de débit massique est substantiellement constant pour une plage de mouvements de pointeaux de soupape dans une plage de mouvements du pointeau. La méthode comprend la commande d'un pointeau de soupape vers une position dans la plage prédéterminée de mouvements de pointeau pour réduire la variabilité dans le taux de débit massique du carburant, particulièrement lorsque le moteur tourne au ralenti ou fonctionne dans des conditions de charge légère. Ceci améliore l'homogénéité de l'injection, stabilisant ainsi le fonctionnement du moteur, diminuant les émissions et augmentant l'efficacité.
