Abstract

L'invention concerne une pince à angle variable (50) destinée à être utilisée avec un assemblage d'implant rachidien comprenant un tige de rachis (R), une vis de Schantz (45), et un élément de connexion (10) recevant une tige de rachis (R). L'élément de connexion (10) comprend une tige et une embase (20) montée sur la tige (16) avec une première surface de serrage définissant une caractéristique d'angle variable. La tige (16) comporte une terminaison sous forme d'une barre en T (17) définissant une seconde surface de serrage. La pince à angle variable (50) définit un alésage (66) conçu afin de recevoir la vis de Schantz (45). Une surface extérieure du corps de la pince définit une caractéristique d'angle variable (56), disposée contre la première surface de serrage, et une surface extérieure opposée adaptée à un contact par pression avec la seconde surface de serrage. Dans un mode de réalisation, la pince comprend une paire de demi-pinces (52 & 54) formant un alésage (66) destiné à recevoir le fût de la vis (47). Dans un autre mode de réalisation, le corps de la pince (100) définit une encoche (120) en communication avec l'alésage (116) conçue de façon qu'une portion de l'embase (20') passe dans l'encoche et dans l'alésage afin de rentrer en contact avec la vis de rachis.
