Abstract
Un moteur à aimant permanent est configuré avec une variation sélective de la distance radiale entre une paire d'interface d'aimant permanent de rotor et de pôle de stator, sur la longueur circonférentielle de cette paire. L'établissement d'un profil de variation d'entrefer approprié permet de maîtriser les effets du couple de crantage sur la caractéristique de couple globale. Les surfaces du pôle de stator et de l'aimant de rotor peuvent être inclinées l'une par rapport à l'autre, l'angle qui les sépare étant choisi de façon à obtenir la compensation de couple de crantage souhaitée. D'autres profils de variation d'entrefer peuvent comprendre des surfaces concaves à degré de concavité réglable.
