Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de détection de caries dentaires sur une structure dentaire (T) comprenant un conducteur électromagnétique permettant de diriger au moins un rayonnement initial (Ir) sur une structure dentaire à évaluer, un collecteur électromagnétique permettant de recueillir au moins un rayonnement électromagnétique (Rr) qui a été au moins réfléchi par la dent (T) et transmis à travers cette dernière suite au rayonnement initial (Ir). Le collecteur est conçu pour transmettre le rayonnement électromagnétique obtenu (Rr) à un dispositif de détection (D). Ce dispositif de détection est conçu pour comparer au moins une intensité d'au moins un rayonnement obtenu (Rr) avec au moins une valeur prédéterminée qui correspond à une présence ou à une absence de caries dentaires. Ce système permet de diagnostiquer la présence ou l'absence de caries dentaires sur la structure dentaire.
