Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de prothèse fémorale du genou destiné à remodeler une surface articulaire ayant subie une résection à l'extrémité distale d'un fémur, qui comporte un composant fémoral conçu pour épouser ladite surface; et un élément d'attache. La surface intérieure du composant fémoral est conçue pour se raccorder au premier élément d'attache lorsque le composant fémoral épouse la surface articulaire du fémur ayant subi une résection et lorsque le premier élément d'attache traverse le côté médial ou le côté latéral de ladite surface. Le composant fémoral existe en systèmes en une pièce et en deux pièces. L'invention concerne également des composants fémoraux d'accouplement (qui sont, par exemple, effilés ou avec lèvres s'emboîtant avec des rainures).
