Abstract
Cette invention se rapporte à un prêt-à-monter fournissant un fauteuil roulant adaptable en mode de déplacement manuel ou en mode motorisé. Ce prêt-à-monter comprend les éléments qui suivent. Une armature de fauteuil roulant avec deux roues montées par rotation; un bâti d'unité de propulsion pourvu d'au moins un moteur, une roue de droite et une roue de gauche motorisées, accouplées fonctionnellement et séparément au moteur minimal, ces roues de droite et de gauche motorisées étant caractérisées par une première et une seconde vitesses de rotation respectives, le moteur minimal étant accouplé au moins à une batterie et à un contrôleur pour commander la première et la seconde vitesses de rotation; et une structure d'installation pourvue d'au moins un premier élément d'installation porté par le bâti de l'unité de propulsion et d'au moins un second élément d'installation porté par le fauteuil roulant, les premier et second éléments d'installation minimaux étant adaptés pour coïncider l'un avec l'autre solidement et de manière libérable pour installer l'unité de propulsion à l'armature du fauteuil roulant. Les roues mues sont intercalées entre les roues du fauteuil roulant lorsque l'unité de propulsion est installée sur le fauteuil roulant.
