Abstract
Appareil et méthode de formation de bandes de carton continues pour produire plusieurs découpes de boîtes munies d'impressions à double-face. L'appareil comprend une tireuse pour appliquer de manière répétitive des empreintes sur une première bande continue de carton à des intervalles prédéterminés sur l'axe longitudinal dudit carton, alors que la première bande continue traverse la tireuse, cette dernière comprenant un cylindre de pression à moteur muni d'une surface de pression annulaire, et un cylindre d'impression dont la vitesse de rotation est déterminée par la vitesse de déplacement de la première bande continue dans la tireuse, au moins un capteur servant à détecter les repères de référence préimprimés sur la seconde bande à intervalles le long de ladite bande. Au moins, un codeur sert à générer des signaux correspondant à la vitesse de rotation du cylindre d'impression, ainsi qu'un contrôleur informatisé qui : a) est relié de manière fonctionnelle à au moins un capteur afin de recevoir des données correspondant à la position des repères de référence préimprimés sur la seconde bande; b) relié de manière fonctionnelle à au moins un codeur afin de recevoir des signaux correspondant à la vitesse de rotation du cylindre d'impression; e) relié de manière fonctionnelle au moteur du cylindre de pression et fonctionnant de façon à faire correspondre la vitesse de rotation dudit cylindre de pression à celle du cylindre d'impression, telle que déterminée par au moins un codeur; il fonctionne également de façon à ajuster de manière sélective la vitesse de rotation du cylindre de pression sur la zone définie entre les repères de référence adjacents sur la seconde bande continue, à mesure qu'ils sont détectés par au moins un capteur susmentionné.
