Abstract

L'invention porte sur un réseau de commande comportant plusieurs noeuds maîtres et plusieurs noeuds esclaves reliés ensemble en boucle par au moins un câble à fibre optique. Les noeuds maîtres partagent en concurrence la commande des autres noeuds par multiplexage temporel ou d'autres techniques. Le réseau de commande peut comporter deux anneaux de fibres optiques qui transfèrent simultanément les mêmes données dans des sens opposés le long de la boucle. Les noeuds maîtres peuvent utiliser un schéma de scrutation sélectionnant un seul noeud transmettant à un moment donné dans les deux sens sur la boucle. Le ou les noeuds récepteurs (s) propagent les transmissions et les sélectionnent en fonction du temps, du taux d'erreur et d'autres facteurs. On peut construire un réseau de commandes hiérarchiques à anneaux de fibres optiques de niveau supérieur ou de niveau inférieur. On peut utiliser plusieurs noeuds maîtres à tout niveau d'un anneau, et tout ou partie de l'anneau peut comporter deux fibres optiques assurant des communications bidirectionnelles et redondantes sur le réseau.
