Abstract

L'invention concerne une unité de construction (1) modulaire comprenant des murs, un sol et un plafond, assemblée, de préférence, hors site et meublée ou aménagée hors site avant d'être transportée sur un site de construction pour être assemblée en une pile sous forme de réseau vertical et horizontal afin de former un immeuble. L'unité de construction modulaire est essentiellement une enveloppe munie d'un revêtement intérieur définissant les murs d'une pièce. Le positionnement vertical de cette unité de construction sur l'unité qui se trouve en-dessous d'elle dans la pile s'effectue au moyen d'un rebord de positionnement (6) s'étendant vers le bas autour du bord inférieur extérieur de chaque module et coopérant avec un évidement périphérique (2b, 2c) autour du périmètre supérieur du bord supérieur extérieur du module verticalement adjacent situé en-dessous de l'unité de construction dans la pile.
