Abstract

La présente invention concerne une composition d'huile lubrifiante à faible taux de phosphore pour des moteurs à combustion interne, présentant des avantages d'économie de carburant tout en procurant une protection contre l'oxydation à température élevée, contre les dépôts sur les pistons et contre l'usure. La composition d'huile lubrifiante de la présente invention comprend : a) une quantité dominante d'une huile de base de viscosité lubrifiante; b) environ 0,1 à 10 % en poids d'un détergent de type alkylarylsulfonate de métal alcalino-terreux surbasique ayant un indice basique total d'environ 25 à 500; c) environ 0,02 à 10 % en poids d'un complexe contenant de l'oxymolybdène; d) environ 0,1 à 5 % en poids d'un agent modifiant le frottement; et e) environ 0,2 à 10 % en poids d'un antioxydant choisi dans le groupe consistant en un composé de type diphénylamine, un composé contenant un ester sulfuré et leurs mélanges; la concentration totale du complexe contenant de l'oxymolybdène et de l'antioxydant doit être d'au moins 1,3 % en poids sur la base du poids total de la composition d'huile lubrifiante et la teneur en phosphore de la composition d'huile lubrifiante est de 0,08 % en poids ou moins, sur la base du poids total de la composition d'huile lubrifiante.
