Abstract
Cette invention concerne un procédé amélioré de lixiviation bactérienne en tas de minerais de sulfure métallique de base. Ce procédé se caractérise par l'adjonction de soufre élémentaire, les bactéries oxydant le soufre qui sont indigènes au minerai ou qui lui sont ajoutées oxydant le soufre élémentaire et produisant de la chaleur à l'intérieur du tas de minerai.
