Abstract

La présente invention porte sur un système et une méthode de renforcement, à la forme de résistance ou de protection contre l'humidité, à des endroits distincts sous un plancher porte-charge en bois, qui réduit les coûts liés à une telle fabrication et qui offre des résultats supérieurs ou à tout le moins équivalents. Le système de renforcement de plancher porte-charge en bois pour un appareil de transport de charges, comme un véhicule ou un contenant de transport, est composé d'une section de plancher et au moins une section possède une surface prédéterminée plus petite que la surface totale de la section de plancher. La section de plancher est composée de planches en bois dotées d'une surface supérieure, une surface inférieure et des surfaces latérales disposées côte à côte, les planches étant elles-mêmes composées de bandes de bois jointes de bout en bout et latéralement. La section est sélectivement située sur la surface inférieure du plancher et est composée de matériel choisi pour sa résistance structurelle ou ses propriétés de protection contre l'eau.
