Abstract

Il s'agit d'un véhicule à chenilles avec une lame frontale pour dégager les routes et un bras élévateur arrière pour installer et gréer un poteau de services publics dans des endroits éloignés. La lame frontale est configurée avec des supports pour porter une tarière. Un berceau sur la lame frontale et sur un longeron du bras élévateur sert à transporter un poteau. Le véhicule est configuré pour transporter tous les accessoires nécessaires pour l'emplacement, y compris une pince à poteau, un godet personnel télescopique et un approvisionnement en eau pour couper et/ou tasser le poteau. Le bras élévateur se rétracte en une configuration compacte en arrière de la cabine du véhicule à chenilles et, en extension, il peut accéder à des poteaux atteignant une hauteur de 85 pieds. Ledit bras élévateur est manoeuvrable par télécommande pour obtenir une utilisation sécuritaire près des lignes sous tension ou lorsqu'il est placé en terrain abrupt. Ce bras élévateur peut être enlevé du véhicule sur place pour ne pas être encombré par le véhicule à chenilles et la lame.
