Abstract

La présente divulgation porte sur un dispositif électronique portatif avec bloc de touches amélioré et sur les procédés connexes. Selon l'invention, ledit dispositif répond aux besoins définis et à d'autres non énoncés grâce aux perfectionnements apportés qui en améliorent l'utilité, tout en en réduisant sa taille. Le bloc de touches tire parti d'une organisation spéciale des touches qui sont disposées en paires sur un support, chaque élément d'une paire pouvant être activé séparément. La frappe d'une touche individuelle active un conducteur primaire spécialisé qui met à son tour en circuit un conducteur secondaire relié à celle-ci. Ce dernier ouvre alors une autre paire de contacts. Le conducteur primaire est un dôme pliable ou un commutateur tactile pouvant relier électriquement la paire de contacts, tout en donnant une rétroaction tactile à l'utilisateur. Le conducteur secondaire est, pour sa part, de forme et de nature différentes. La frappe d'une touche ou d'une paire de touches donne donc à l'utilisateur une rétroaction tactile uniforme correspondant à l'enfoncement d'un seul dôme. Le présent document décrit également un procédé perfectionné correspondant à l'invention.
